You deserve more than
Just Getting Through the Day
You wake up and the weight is already there before your feet hit the floor.
You have gotten so good at functioning that most people have no idea. You show up, take care of things, and hold it together. Then you close the door at the end of the day and wonder how much longer you can keep doing this.
Maybe you spent years in a relationship with someone who made you question your own mind. Someone who convinced you that your feelings were too much, your needs unreasonable, and that love was something you had to earn every single day. You got out, or you are still trying to, and now you are standing in the wreckage wondering who you are without that relationship defining you.
Maybe you grew up in a home where your emotional needs were consistently ignored, dismissed, or met with indifference. Nobody hit you. Nobody called it abuse. But something essential was missing, and you have spent your adult life trying to fill a gap you could never quite name. Emotional and physical neglect leave real marks on the nervous system, even when there are no obvious wounds to point to.
Maybe you lost both of your parents and found yourself standing in a world that suddenly had no floor beneath it. That kind of loss carries a particular aloneness that most people around you cannot fully understand.
Maybe money has been a source of anxiety and fear for as long as you can remember. Financial trauma is real. It lives in the nervous system. And it shapes every decision you make.
Maybe you left a church, a faith community, or a belief system that once held your entire world together. Now you are grieving something enormous in a silence most people around you do not understand.
Maybe someone violated you. No matter how many years have passed, your body has not forgotten. It flinches, braces, and stays on guard even when your mind has tried to move on.
Maybe you lost someone suddenly and traumatically. Grief that arrives that way does not follow a timeline. It lives in the body and ambushes you in ordinary moments.
Maybe your marriage ended and took with it the life you had planned, the family structure you depended on, and the version of yourself you thought you were going to be. Divorce is a real loss and it deserves to be treated like one.
Maybe anxiety and PTSD have been with you so long they feel like part of who you are. You are always braced, always scanning, always waiting for the next thing to go wrong.
ADHD
Maybe you have been told your whole life that you just need to try harder. That you are smart enough; you just do not apply yourself. That if you really cared, you would remember, follow through, finish what you started. You have spent years building systems to compensate, apologizing for the ways your brain works, and quietly absorbing the message that everyone else seems to manage just fine. ADHD is not a discipline problem. It is a nervous system that has been running in overdrive for years – and for many people, that dysregulation has left a trauma layer underneath it that no planner or productivity app can reach.
NEURODIVERGENCE
Maybe you have always felt like you were built for a world that was not built for you. You experience things more intensely, process differently, and notice what other people walk right past. You learned early to mask it, manage it, minimize it – to make yourself more palatable to environments that were not designed with you in mind. That kind of chronic adaptation is exhausting. And when it goes on long enough, it stops being just a personality difference and starts living in the body as stress, shutdown, and shame that is hard to explain to anyone who has not felt it.
ASD/ON THE SPECTRUM
Maybe you spent years performing a version of yourself that other people could understand, while the real experience of being you stayed hidden underneath it. The masking. The sensory overwhelm you learned to push through in silence. The social interactions that cost you far more than anyone around you knew. Whether you have known your whole life or found out recently, you may be sitting with a lot – grief for the years you spent trying to be someone else, and a nervous system that has been working overtime for as long as you can remember. That is not something you just think your way through. It lives in the body, and that is exactly where this work begins.
I have navigated some of these experiences myself. I know what it is to carry things that feel uncarriable, and I know what it takes to actually work through them. That personal experience, combined with 16 years of professional practice, is what I bring to every session.
Why Talk Therapy
Alone Often Is Not Enough
Talk therapy is valuable. It gives language to experience, builds insight, and helps you understand your patterns.
But there is a significant gap between understanding what happened to you and actually being free from it.
Research in neuroscience has shown that trauma is not stored as a thought or a memory you can simply talk through. It is stored in the nervous system, in the body, in the deeper brain structures that operate below conscious awareness. That is why insight alone rarely produces lasting change.
This is why people can spend years in talk therapy, understand exactly why they react the way they do, and still find themselves stuck in the same patterns. Not because healing is not possible, but because the approach has not yet met the wound where it actually lives.
What I offer as a Holistic Coach in Roseville, CA is an integrated, body-informed approach that works directly with the nervous system. Book your free consultation to get started.
What I specialize in
Trauma Recovery in Roseville, CA
I see clients in person in Roseville, CA and virtually worldwide. All sessions are by appointment only.
Office: 210 Estates Drive, Suite 200, Roseville CA 95678.
Emotional Abuse and Toxic Relationship Recovery
Living with someone who consistently undermined your reality, manipulated your emotions, or made you feel like nothing you did was ever enough leaves a lasting mark. I work with survivors of narcissistic and emotionally abusive relationships to rebuild self-trust, restore identity, and develop the nervous system regulation that makes healthy relationships possible again.
Emotional Neglect and Physical Neglect Recovery
Neglect is one of the most underrecognized forms of childhood trauma. Adults who experienced emotional or physical neglect often struggle with a pervasive sense of emptiness, difficulty identifying their own needs, chronic shame with no clear origin, and a deep discomfort with receiving care. The absence of what you needed is a real wound, and it responds exceptionally well to the body-based work I do.
Divorce Recovery and Relational Grief
Divorce is not just the end of a marriage. It is the loss of a shared future, a family structure, a daily identity. I help people move through divorce recovery with the depth and support it actually deserves, processing the full weight of what ended and building a clear, grounded sense of who they are on the other side.
Unhealthy Attachment Patterns and Relationship Trauma
Constantly putting everyone else first, losing yourself in relationships, and feeling responsible for other people’s emotions are nervous system responses, not personality flaws. I help clients understand where these patterns came from and build the foundation needed to show up in relationships as a whole person.
Religious Trauma Syndrome and Spiritual Abuse Recovery
Leaving a faith community or belief system that once organized your entire life is a profound loss often invisible to those around you. I provide a non-judgmental space where this experience is taken seriously and healing is defined entirely by you.
Sexual Trauma and Assault Recovery
Sexual trauma leaves an imprint in the nervous system that thinking and talking alone cannot fully resolve. Through Brainspotting and somatic work I engage the nervous system directly where the wound is actually stored. You do not need to recount every detail for this work to be effective.
Parental Loss and Abandonment Trauma
Losing both parents, at any age, creates a specific kind of grief that is difficult to articulate. I work with clients navigating parental loss and abandonment trauma to process grief fully and find a grounded sense of identity that does not depend on those relationships still being present. I help you untangle the layers that come with this loss and build a stable sense of self that lives within you. Whether the loss was sudden, long anticipated, or layered with complexity, this work meets you exactly where you are and walks with you all the way through.
Family Estrangement and Relational Cutoff
Estrangement is one of the most isolating and misunderstood losses a person can carry. Whether you made the decision to step back from a parent, sibling, or family member, or someone stepped away from you, the grief is real and it rarely gets acknowledged. I work with clients on both sides of estrangement, helping them process the grief, untangle the guilt and shame, and find a grounded sense of self that does not depend on the relationship being resolved. Healing from estrangement does not require reconciliation. It requires coming home to yourself.
Financial Trauma and Scarcity Wound Recovery
Financial trauma is about the nervous system patterns that develop when scarcity, instability, or loss become defining experiences. I help clients disrupt these patterns and build a genuinely new relationship with financial safety and possibility. The sense of ease and agency people find on the other side of this work changes how they move through every area of their lives. Money becomes something you relate to from a place of neutrality, and that shift touches everything from daily decisions to the biggest choices you make for yourself.
Medical Trauma Recovery
Medical trauma develops when an experience with illness, injury, surgery, hospitalization, or the healthcare system itself overwhelms the nervous system’s ability to cope. It can arise from a life-threatening diagnosis, a traumatic procedure, a frightening hospital stay, a difficult birth experience, or years of chronic illness that have left the body feeling like an unsafe place to live. Medical trauma is often invisible — people are told to be grateful they survived, so the terror, helplessness, and loss of bodily autonomy never get acknowledged. The nervous system, however, does not forget. I work with medical trauma survivors to process what the body has been holding and restore a genuine sense of safety and agency.
Complicated Grief and Traumatic Bereavement
When loss is sudden or layered with complicated circumstances, grief does not follow a predictable path. It lives in the body, shows up in unexpected moments, and deserves far more space than the world around you is often willing to give it. I work with the nervous system to help grief move through at the pace it actually needs, honoring every layer of what you are carrying without rushing you past a single part of it. Using Brainspotting, somatic therapy, and deep individualized support, I help you process loss completely so you can hold your love and your grief at the same time and keep moving forward fully alive.
Anxiety, PTSD, and Nervous System Dysregulation
When the nervous system has been in survival mode for a long time, anxiety and hypervigilance become the default setting. Your body learned to respond this way because at some point it had to. That response kept you safe, and it was exactly right for what you were going through. The thing is, the body does not always get the memo that the danger is over. It keeps running the same survival program long after the original threat has passed. Through Brainspotting and somatic nervous system therapy I help the body finally receive that message, settle into a new baseline, and move from a chronic state of threat response into genuine, felt safety.
ADHD and Nervous System Healing
ADHD is not just about attention. It is about a nervous system that has spent years in a state of dysregulation – and when that is layered with a lifetime of criticism, academic struggle, relational friction, and internalized shame, the result is a trauma pattern that sits underneath the diagnosis and amplifies everything. Brainspotting works directly with the nervous system without requiring you to sit still, stay linear, or process out loud. Sessions follow your rhythm, use bilateral sound to support regulation, and access what your body has been holding long after the words run out. Many clients find that as the nervous system load begins to shift, their ability to function day to day shifts with it.
Neurodivergence and Trauma Recovery
Being neurodivergent in a world designed for neurotypical minds is its own form of chronic stress – and for many people, it is also the environment in which deeper wounds formed. Repeated experiences of misattunement, rejection, overstimulation, and being consistently misunderstood leave real marks on the nervous system. The hypervigilance, the emotional dysregulation, the exhaustion, and shame that so many neurodivergent people carry are not character flaws. They are adaptations. Brainspotting is particularly well-suited to neurodivergent nervous systems because it does not ask you to fit into a framework that was never designed with you in mind. It meets your system exactly where it is and allows healing to happen at the body level, at your pace, in your way.
ASD/ On the Spectrum and Trauma-Informed Support
Autistic individuals or those on the spectrum carry a disproportionate trauma load – from sensory overwhelm, from long-term masking, from years of being misunderstood by systems and people who never met them where they were. That cumulative weight is real, and it deserves real support. Brainspotting is a strong fit for autistic clients because it works below the level of verbal language and does not require linear communication or social performance of any kind. Sessions are fully adapted to your sensory needs and your pace. You do not need to explain yourself in terms that were not built for you. The goal is not to help you function better in a world that has not yet caught up to who you are. It is to help you set down what you have been carrying and come home to yourself.

How I Work
Lasting trauma recovery requires working at the level where trauma is actually stored, in the nervous system and the deeper brain. I use three integrated, evidence-informed approaches.
Brainspotting Therapy
Brainspotting is an evidence-informed trauma therapy developed by Dr. David Grand that uses specific eye positions to locate and process trauma stored in the subcortical brain. Because the eye is part of the brain itself, it gives direct access to the central nervous system.
The Science: Why Eye Position Matters
Where you look affects how you feel. When your gaze rests on the specific point that corresponds to where a traumatic experience is stored internally, it activates that neural pathway and allows the brain’s natural processing capacity to engage directly with the wound.
How It Differs From Talk Therapy
Talk therapy engages the thinking brain. Brainspotting bypasses it entirely and reaches the midbrain where trauma responses like fight, flight, freeze, and fawn originate. You do not have to retell your story for it to work.
What Bilateral Stimulation Does
Throughout a session I use BioLateral sound through headphones, alternating audio that moves from ear to ear. This supports the brain’s natural processing rhythm, helps regulate the nervous system during deep work, and keeps the body grounded while the brain accesses and releases what has been stored.
What a Session Looks Like
Every new client begins with a thorough intake. We map history, nervous system patterns, and generational and family influences. We then move directly into the first Brainspotting session in the same appointment. I guide you to find the brainspot, the specific eye position that activates your body’s response to the material we are working with. You put on headphones and settle into bilateral sound. Some clients talk throughout. Others remain quiet. Some experience images, memories, or physical sensations. There is no right way for it to unfold. You remain fully in control throughout.
Why This Works When Nothing Else Has
This is the answer to why nothing else has fully worked. Talk therapy could not reach it because it was never stored as a thought. Willpower could not override it because it was running below the level of conscious choice. Brainspotting reaches the exact level where the problem lives. On a neurobiological level it rewires old patterns, calms the body’s survival responses, and opens new neural pathways for resilience and genuine wellbeing. On a lived level, clients consistently describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more present after sessions in a way that nothing they had tried before had produced. That is not a side effect of the work. That is the point of it.

My Holistic Approach
Holistic Coaching for the mind & spirit, Brainspotting & Somatic therapy for the Body.
Somatic Therapy and Nervous System Regulation
Somatic therapy works with the body directly, using awareness of physical sensation, breath, movement, and nervous system state to process and release what is held there. Nervous system regulation is the process of moving the body out of chronic survival responses, such as hypervigilance, shutdown, and reactivity, and into a stable baseline from which genuine recovery becomes possible. This is not relaxation or breathing exercises. It is a precise, evidence-informed process of retraining the nervous system from the inside out.
Holistic Coaching
Trauma does not exist in isolation. It affects relationships, work, physical health, decision-making, and sense of self. My holistic coaching approach addresses the full picture, helping you not only process what happened but build the skills, patterns, and self-understanding needed to create the life you want on the other side of healing.

Real Recovery.
The people who come to my practice have often tried other things. They have been to talk therapy, read the books, tried the techniques, and pushed through on willpower. They have made progress in some areas and hit a wall in others.
It does shift. Consistently. The combination of Brainspotting, somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and holistic coachingreaches what other approaches leave untouched. My clients come in stuck and leave with a fundamentally different relationship to themselves, their history, and their future.
With 16 years of experience in trauma recovery in Roseville, CA and beyond, I have worked with hundreds of people navigating exactly what you are navigating. You do not have to keep managing this. You can actually heal it.

I booked this service after expieriencing alot of changes in my family due to a major loss that occoured. I was unsure who to trust and open up at the time and just barely able to put enough energy into finding a therapist when I found Chloe! From the very beginning I could tell she put alot effort into smooth sign up and intake which relieved alot of stress for me. When I arrived into the office she got to know me and my needs prior to going into the brainspotting and I felt very cared for and safe. This part was crucial for the deeper work later we would do because i could let my guard down this person had my best interest! The session itself exceeded my expectations of what I had imagined possible. Everything we went into during the session greatly changed my life for the better. One of the changes that stuck with me from this session was feeling my emotions after being so far away from myself and avoiding them the brainspotting allowed me to reframe my mind that my emotions are the key to so much insight and good. Not to mention i healed a past life trauma in a vision that actually happened in my family line i never knew about prior! Thank you again for being here during this time, I will always remember it.
